SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

Visiting the Muskegon Museum of Art is a great way to provide students with an opportunity to engage and connect with art. Students can explore the Museum’s permanent collection as well as the wide range of temporary exhibitions. K-12 school tours are always FREE.

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION FUND

 

A transportation fund has been created by generous MMA patrons to help area schools defer transportation costs associated with field trips to the Muskegon Museum of Art. After you have scheduled your tour, please fill out the application.

HOME SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS

 

This program is designed for home school families that would like to explore the arts. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month we will explore a monthly theme by touring the galleries and working on a related art lesson. The program will run from 10:00-11:30 am and is open to K-12. Registration is required spaces are limited, call 720.2571. There is a $3 per child material cost, this fee is waived for those families that have MMA membership. Parent/guardian is required to attend with child.

GUIDED GROUP TOURS FOR ADULTS

Enjoy a docent-guided tour for groups of eight or more.  To make reservations please call 231.720.2587.  Discounted adult admission rates may apply for large groups.

OPEN PUBLIC TOURS

Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. drop in for a docent led tour.  Reservations are not required.  Thursday admission is free.

Join us on the second Sunday of every month (September-May) for a docent led tour from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Admission fees apply.

MUSEUM CLASSROOM

The MMA classroom can be reserved for special activities as a part of a tour experience if time and scheduling permit.  Groups of 30 or fewer, please.  Call 231.720.2571 to make arrangements.
