In this fun hands-on workshop, we will transform colorful merino wool roving into beautiful felt flowers using just our hands, imagination, and a little soap and water. This magical process is called wet felting. You will leave with both an appreciation for the ancient art of felt-making, as well as several lovely felt flowers, which can then be fashioned into one-of-a-kind hair clips or jewelry by attaching a pin back. These make fantastic gifts, too! This class is a great introduction to felt-making. Suitable for beginners. Materials include merino wool roving, soap, bubble wrap, hair clips, and pin backs to turn your flowers into jewelry. To register, call 231.720.2571 by October 16.
