Grand Valley State University Poet Laureate Patricia Clarks’ intermediate poetry students will read original poetry they created that was inspired by the works in the MMA’s collection. The readings will be interspersed with poetic music played by the GVSU Tangent and Carbon saxophone quartets under the direction of Assistant Professor Jonathan Nichols. Both quartets play a full range of soprano to baritone saxophones.
