Friends of Art will present a three-part spring lecture series organized to support the Muskegon Museum of Art’s Edward S. Curtis: The North American Indian exhibition that runs May 11 through September 10, 2017. Registration for the complete series costs $45 per person, discounted to $30 for Friends of Art members. Admission to individual lectures will be $15, payable at the door. Friends of Art must receive payment by April 1. Lectures will take place in the Muskegon Museum of Art auditorium at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm.

Old Traditions & New Ways of Sharing; The Ak Chin Ecomuseum ‘Him Dak’ (or ‘Way Of Life’)
Nancy Fuller served for over 30 years at the Smithsonian Institution as a museum staff development specialist. Her focus was on minority and indigenous groups, nationally and internationally, who work to preserve and transmit their culture. She is a member of the Cosmos Club, the International Society of Women Geographers, and the International Council of Museums. Fuller holds a M.A.T. in museum education from The George Washington University and a B.A. in education and liberal studies from the University of Michigan.
