The Lakeshore Art Festival features a unique blend of arts, crafts, music, food, and fun in beautiful Downtown Muskegon, Michigan. With nearly 300 fine art and specialty craft exhibitors, children’s activities, specialty food items, street performers and multiple interactive art stations this event is an artful experience for all to enjoy! The Lakeshore Art Festival has been recognized by Sunshine Artist Magazine as one of the “200 Best” in the country and by ArtFairCalendar.com as “Favorite Small Town Art Fair.” Mark your calendar for July 7 and 8, 2017 to enjoy your artful experience at the Lakeshore Art Festival!
The Lakeshore Art Festival is happy to partner with the Muskegon Museum of Art by bringing an original Edward Curtis drawing to life, “Thunderbirds and Whales.” This drawing will come alive through the work of a sidewalk chalk artist during the Lakeshore Art Festival. The artist will be re-creating the image on July 7 beginning at 10am until it is completed. It will be on display the remainder of the festival until July 8 at 6pm.
