Curator receives letter from Laura Bush, an admirer of Annabel Livermore

Former First Lady Laura Bush has been an Annabel Livermore fan for many years. It’s no wonder, since Annabel is a Texas resident and a fellow librarian.

Mrs. Bush was pleased to learn of the popular MMA exhibition Remembering Newaygo County: The Symbolist Paintings of Annabel Livermore and was sorry she could not attend the opening. She sent this lovely letter to the Museum:

Remembering Newaygo County is the first exhibition of Annabel’s work to focus on her Michigan origins. You can see the show through October 31.
